Tea To Go | Pattern Release

Tea to Go Tea Bag Wallet

You never know when you’ll need your favorite tea—you don’t know when it’ll strike: at work, on the long drive on the way to a vacation, on the way to your sister’s house, at the hotel (where you know they will be out of English Breakfast!)…who knows, but we all know that sometimes you just need  your tea to go!

Today I’m sharing a pattern designed and loved by tea drinkers! My mom and I worked together on this pattern, so I’m pretty tickled to release my first pattern with my mom! I hope there’s many more to come. Make sure to download your copy of my Tea to Go tea wallet pattern or grab a quick and easy kit with the fabric included, and be sure to check out all the delicious details below. Here it is in all its adorable glory. Who knew you needed a tea-bag-bag?!

Tea To Go Tea Bag Wallet Folded (Tea To Go Sewing Pattern) Traveling Tea Bag Pocket

Six pockets is perfect for holding your tea stash; it stays small in your purse, and it’s even small enough for your pocket!

Tea Bag Carrier

This is a great project for a favorite fabric that you love but couldn’t use anywhere else or for that button you’ve been saving. The button really makes this—you could go giant or something simply lovely!

What you’ll need:

  • 1 button
  • 1 hair tie or other type of elastic string
  • 2 fabric rectangles measuring 9–1/2″ x 14–1/4″ each
  • Your pattern!

There are lots of great parts about this simple pattern, but one of my favorites is that it’s just so easy! It’s great for beginners, which I love! You can whip up a tea bag holder in just a few minutes, and then you can make some more for your friends!

Once you’re all finished, I’d love to see what you’ve come up with!
