Tea To Go | Pattern Release

Tea Bag Bag

You never know when you’ll need your favorite tea—you don’t know when it’ll strike: at work, on the long drive on the way to a vacation, on the way to your sister’s house, at the hotel (where you know they will be out of English Breakfast!)…who knows, but we all know that sometimes you just need  your tea to go! Today I’m sharing a pattern designed and loved by tea drinkers! My mom and I worked together on this pattern, so I’m pretty tickled to release my first pattern with my mom! I hope there’s many more to come. Make sure to download your copy of Tea To Go, and be sure to check out all the delicious details below. Here it is in all its adorable glory. Who knew you needed a tea-bag-bag?!

Sewing Pattern Tea Bag Traveling Tea Bag Pocket

Six pockets is perfect for holding your tea stash; it stays small in your purse, and it’s even small enough for your pocket!

Tea Bag Carrier

This is a great project for a favorite fabric that you love but couldn’t use anywhere else or for that button you’ve been saving. The button really makes this—you could go giant or something simply lovely!

What you’ll need:

  • 1 button
  • 1 hair tie or other type of elastic string
  • 2 fabric rectangles measuring 9–1/2″ x 14–1/4″ each
  • Your pattern!

Once you’re all finished, I’d love to see what you’ve come up with! Be sure to post your images and comments below!
