TODAY IS THE DAY!
Welcome to month 1 of my Potting Table Block of the Month Club! I’ve actually got TWO posts for you this month, just to keep things tidy, so make sure that you read on for some cutting that will have you set for the rest of the year AND make sure to check out all the great details about Block 1.
Ready for our first cutting session?! This will prep up for all the terracotta fabrics for the rest of the year, so make sure you download your Getting Started pattern page here:
Cutting
Now that you’ve downloaded your pattern and printed, it’s time to take a look at it! As you’ll notice, it’s a big ol’ cutting chart! The reason we are doing this cutting session at the get-go is to save you yards and yards of fabric! I tried to divvy these terracotta fabrics up into each month and it was just SO wasteful. So, we are going to take a few minutes here and cut and label these four fabrics in anticipation of the whole year.
I won’t typically include a cutting video for you (unless you’ve added on virtual classes), but I thought that this would be a good introduction to how we’ll be cutting throughout the year and guide you through my process.
If you’re interested in full length videos, cutting tutorials, and descriptions on techniques like this, you might want to consider adding the BOM class this year.
