A Fitted Sheet that Turns into a Quilt

grow-with-me-online-onyl

Today is pattern release day! I’ve been sitting on pins and needles waiting to share this one with you guys—I think I’ve really thought of a new idea here, a quilt that you can use in the baby’s crib, that’s right—the Grow With Me quilt is a combination of a quilt and fitted sheet for standard size crib mattresses. When baby graduates to a big kid bed, it can easily be turned into a great snuggly child-sized quilt. My amazing pattern testers are just as razzed up about this pattern as I am, so let’s get to sharing, shall we?! (Continue reading…)

Today, I’m excited to present you with a tutorial that’s been in the works for a while: my very own Raw Edge Appliqué Tutorial! If you’re an appliqué lover and want to see those patterns, be sure to check them out in my shop, or take a look at the photos below: (Continue reading…)

christmas-gift-for-neighbor

It was the perfect idea (that’s why she’s my Mom, I guess!) that incorporated my love of baths (who doesn’t love a bath?), essential oils, and gardening. Today I’m going to show you how to whip up this affordable and adorable Christmas gift, perfect for neighbors, church friends, family, and family friends!

Today is a show-and-tell sort of day! I’ve finally finished up reworking my Hoosier find (more like a steal) that I told you all about way back in the summer. I’ve long dreamed about turning a Hoosier—I guess mine is technically a Dutch Kitchen (we’ve always called it a Hoosier)—into a changing table, and I can’t believe I made it happen! I’m going to show you how I updated this antique piece to be a fully functioning changing table and share all the sweet little details hidden inside: (Continue reading…)

Tis the season for snugly sweaters, hot chocolate, and Holiday Home Tours! I’m number 3 on this blog hop, so make sure to check out Moriah’s gorgeous apartment, Megan’s place, and then stay tuned for different homes all week! Now, onto our humble abode…

Despite the madness that is the holiday season, and preparing for baby Rossi (1 month to go!), I’ve managed to get everything decorated on time this year. Nothing like a little home tour to get you moving!
