Is there a fee for checking out samples?
While there is no fee for checking out samples, there are minimal charges included:
- Shipping (I ship via PirateShip at a very reasonable rate or can use your FedEx or UPS account number)
- Minimum wholesale order of 6 patterns per sample
- You are welcome to order more than 6 and include other patterns at the time of contract if you wish!
Why do you require a credit authorization?
At the time of signing the contract, I also require a credit authorization. This is to ensure that if the quilts come back damaged that the damage will be covered. Please note:
- Your information is stored securely on Square – I am not able to see any of your payment information
- Your card would only be charged if quilts are damaged beyond repair, after notifying you of the damages, and only if you fail to pay for damages after 30 days (or give permission to charge the card)…It’s basically Plan C!
Why do I need to order directly from you during a trunk show instead of through a distributor?
Trunk shows take a lot of time and resources to plan, pack, ship, and manage. Distributor margins are much lower, which would make offering trunk shows unsustainable if orders went through them. By ordering directly, you help me keep trunk shows free for shops—and you also get access to my full catalog, special extras in each shipment, and the chance to work with me directly.
