What a fun February I’ve been having! Usually it’s the worst month to get through, but the hustle and bustle around here has been keeping me busy! I’ve been crazy busy at work and plugging away at the blog early in the morning and late at night! I’ve even found some time for having a life! Check it out:
It’s Just the Beginning
February has been the kick off of our basement remodel! First things first: clean it out! Of course, I’ve been using my trusty sidekick, SketchUp, to help me dream and scheme, but these boxes have got to go!
Surprise Trip!
My wonderful husband, Steven, surprised me with a weekend getaway to Baltimore, Maryland this month! We enjoyed the Baltimore Museum of Art and the National Aquarium while we were there—we managed to jam in a lot of Baltimore in less than 48 hours. I had so much fun! We’d love to go back this summer!
Tea Time
I have an old friend that used to throw a tea party for her best friends every Valentine’s Day. I thought this was a fantastic idea and decided to do the same! Even though it was a little late, the ladies in my family had a lovely time with our tiny desserts and a variety of teas! I even got to use my new teapot (an early birthday present from my mom).
As I look forward to my birthday at the end of this month, I’m looking forward to another year and all that it might hold. I’ve brought myself to take down my winter decorations and it’s totally changed my mindset. My home feels fresh, clean, and ready for whatever comes and so do I!
