Here we are at the end of March already! I’ve decided to make a tribute to each month using my favorite app: Instagram! I think that it’s good to look back and see what you’ve done every few weeks. It reminds you of what is important and encourages you to be excited about the future! So, very simply, I want to share 5 of my favorite images from this month with you.
Date Night
My husband, Steven, and I have taken to quick trips to Milwaukee for the Bucks basketball games. We really don’t have any passion for the team, but their tickets are cheap and it’s a fun out-of-town date! Last time we went on Y2K night. Nothing thing makes you feel old like your childhood memories becoming a theme night! The night wouldn’t have been complete without a Coolio concert at halftime. What a fun (and strange) night!
Wedding Bells
Springtime means the start of wedding season! To kick it off this year, a great friend of mine is marrying the man of her dreams this week! I had a wonderful time attending her bridal shower and bachelorette party and then a second shower thrown by her youth group girls…she’s so loved! For her shower I chose to give her a hand-made project, a quilled initial to match her new last name! This is such a fun project for me—I know how excited brides get about the new last name, so I like to encourage the excitement and help them proudly display it in their homes!
Spring Ahead!
March also brings another important part of every year: decorating for spring! If we’re being honest here, I started decorating long before the snow went away—I kind of willed it away this year. Nevertheless, I’m very excited to decorate our little apartment for my favorite season!
I snagged this at a sale at Pier 1! Add a charger and some hydrangeas & we are ready to go!
I was tickled to whip out this runner from my bridal shower—it fits my table perfectly!
The blue and yellow combination brings the sunshine inside even on cloudy days!
March Madness
Before we go any further, I want to be clear, I am not a basketball girl. In fact, if forced to watch sports, I would have to chose soccer, but anyway I do enjoy some friendly competition…so Steven and I filled out our March Madness brackets and started a pool! Though my dreams of filling out the billion dollar bracket were smashed after the first round, I’m still thrilled that, for now, I am beating someone!
A Baptism Experience
Finally, the best for last! I have had the honor of walking through the process of baptism with some really special ladies this month. It’s been an adventure getting to know them over the past few years and such an honor to be a part of their lives. I’m so proud of them and their choice to publicly declare their faith in Christ.
I hope you enjoyed getting to know me and about my life a little bit more! What are some big March moments from your life? I’d love to hear about them in the comments below!
April is sure to be a month to remember. Make sure that you follow me on Instagram, so you’ll be able to keep up with me every day!
