What. A. Month. I’m not going to lie- I’m glad to be moving onto June! May consisted of finishing up projects with my Chicago clients, packing & planning for our big move, and crawling/falling into bed every night! Despite the business, we made time for some really fun things as well, I’d love to fill you in!

A Day At The Museum

Steven and I went to the Milwaukee Art Museum on May 1 (the first Thursday of every month is free admission)! I’m absolutely in love with everything I saw that day. And I’m so glad to have gotten to see this gorgeous architecture first hand!

Ikea Bound

I finished up the design for 3 volunteer projects, and made one HUGE trip to Ikea- I can’t wait to share more about each of these- click here to project #1!

Before You Go…

I had a last minute consultation/shopping trip the week before we left! It was actually with one of my mentor students, needless to say, I was thrilled to do it! Here’s a sneak peek of one wall, this painting was our inspiration piece- I don’t want to give it all away until we are finished…more to come soon!

Treasure Hunt!

I came across this lovely (OK, so it needs more love than it is lovely) Schwinn Traveler. It’s moved it’s way to #1 on my summer projects list! I’m hoping to order some whitewall tires for it today!

Pack It Up

We officially moved! My fantastic in-laws came all the way to Chicago to help us pack. We somehow managed to fit our whole home into this teeny storage unit. I’m scared to breathe on this pile…it might fall over. Check out my tribute to our first place by clicking here.

That about covers my month, June is sure to be an exciting (and rather lengthy) update. Vacation, a new niece, refurbishing and refinishing projects…it’s going to be packed! What have you been up to this month? I’d love to hear in the comments below.
