We’ve all seen the Asian-rice-paper-room screens (who knows what they are really called?). It’s starting to get a bit cliche and I’m in the mood for a new idea or two on how to divide space with something other than paper and bamboo…so I’m sharing a few of my favorites with you! (I thought that rhymed for a second- but I don’t think it does).
Ah, the joys of first-time home buying…it takes about 5 seconds into the process to figure out that men and women are different. Let’s be clear, men and women are looking for different things when it comes to a home. So, how do we take both into account in the same environment?
With a name like Depression glass, it’s surprising that it is one of my happy things…you know, things that just make you smirk! It might be the memories of countless hours spent with my mom and sister in antique stores, or the pride of continuing my grandmother’s collection, or even the thrill of the hunt—whatever it is, I love collecting Depression glass.

Well, I think it’s just about time for an update! I have a master bedroom project nearing completion, and I’m so excited to share it with you! I actually have a few projects that I’m finishing up, but I’m especially excited about this one.
