Information We Collect and How We Use It

Depending on how you use the Site, we may collect information you provide, such as your name, email address, billing and shipping address, order details, account information, and information you include in a message, review, comment, booking, or form. We use this information to process and fulfill orders, provide customer support, operate accounts and Site features, communicate with you, and maintain the Site. Payment details are handled through the payment provider used at checkout; we do not describe or store full payment-card details here.

If you post a comment or review, we collect the content and information you submit with it. Depending on the Site feature and its settings, approved comments or reviews may be visible to other visitors. Technical information may also be used to help detect spam or protect the Site.

The Site also receives technical and usage information when you visit, which may include your IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, dates and times of visits, and interactions with Site features. We use information of this kind to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and understand use of the Site, and for advertising and measurement where enabled.

If you sign up for email updates or submit a form, we use the information you provide to deliver the requested emails or respond to your message. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in the email.

The Site uses security, anti-spam, and fraud-prevention services. Fraud checks may flag an order for review or automatically block it. If you believe an order was blocked in error, contact us at info@rachelrossi.design.

Legal Bases Where Required

Where UK or EU data-protection law applies, we generally use information to process orders and manage accounts because this is needed to provide what you request; keep tax and accounting records when the law requires it; protect the Site and prevent fraud based on our legitimate interests; and send newsletters based on your consent, which you can withdraw by unsubscribing. We rely on consent for non-essential cookies and advertising technologies where required. The legal basis for a particular use can depend on the circumstances.

Service Providers and Sharing

We share information with service providers when needed to run the Site and provide its features. These may include our website and commerce providers, payment processor (Braintree by PayPal), shipping and fulfillment services, email and form providers, analytics and advertising providers (including Google and Pinterest where enabled), video or embedded-content providers, and security, anti-spam, and fraud-prevention providers. The providers involved depend on the feature you use and the current Site configuration. Their own privacy notices explain their handling of information for their own purposes.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect the Site or others, or as part of a business transfer.

Cookies, Advertising, and Similar Technologies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies for site functions, preferences, security, analytics, advertising, and embedded content. Some WooCommerce cookies support features such as the shopping cart. The Site uses a consent tool that lets visitors in certain regions accept or reject categories of non-essential technologies and later reopen settings using the cookie-settings link. You can also manage cookies through your browser, although some Site features may not work as expected.

The Site uses Google advertising services, including AdSense on some blog posts, and Google analytics/tagging tools. Google may use cookies or similar technologies to provide or measure these services. Google’s European consent process is separate from the Site’s cookie settings. We do not make a claim here that every Google tag or advertising technology is blocked before consent in every region.

Pinterest tools may be used for advertising measurement and conversions. YouTube content may be embedded on the Site and is configured to remain blocked until the visitor accepts the relevant cookie category. The specific cookies and technologies may change as Site tools change. The cookie-settings link provides the current available choices.

Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the business purposes described in this policy, including fulfilling and documenting orders, providing support, analyzing business trends, maintaining records, protecting the Site, resolving disputes, and meeting legal requirements. We may retain order information for ongoing business analysis and recordkeeping for as long as those needs continue, subject to applicable law. Where practical, we may use aggregated or de-identified information for long-term trend analysis.

Your Choices and Privacy Requests

Visitors in certain regions can use the cookie-settings link to change their available cookie choices. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in each email. Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may ask whether we hold personal information about you and request access to it, correction, or deletion. In some circumstances, you may also request restriction of use or a portable copy, object to certain uses, or withdraw consent where we rely on consent. To make a privacy request, contact us at info@rachelrossi.design. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office if you are in the UK, or to your local data protection authority if you are in the EU. The rights available depend on your circumstances and the law that applies.

International Processing

Some service providers may process or store information in countries other than the country where you live. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, the relevant provider may use a transfer mechanism described in its terms or data-processing information. Which providers and safeguards apply depends on the service used.

Children’s Privacy

The Site is not specifically directed to children. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the Site, contact us at info@rachelrossi.design so we can review the request.

Security

We use reasonable measures intended to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

If we become aware of a security incident affecting personal information, we will investigate and take appropriate steps, including giving any notices required by law.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page.
