Description
The Bandit Bib is perfect for all ages–even grown ups! The newborn size is great for accessorizing and catching those unexpected spit-ups, while the baby size is perfect for the teething phase. I’ve even got an adult size so that mommy (or daddy) and baby can match! It doubles beautifully as an easy-access burp cloth as well. The double layered bib adds extra absorbency and makes it look more like a scarf than a bib, making this a great accessory for baby. Make sure to get your copy of this pattern and see all the beautiful fabric ideas on the blog.
Level: Beginner
Fabric Requirements:
Many different fabrics can be used for this pattern. A terrycloth backing and cotton print seem to be the fan favorite pairing. I suggest at least 1 of them be absorbent (ex: Terrycloth or Flannel). Feel free to mix and match & don’t forget to pre-wash!
- Child sizes (Newborn, Baby, Toddler): 2 fat quarters of contrasting fabric
- Adult size: 1/2 yard of main fabric and 1/2 yard of backing fabric
Supplies:
Sewing Machine |Matching Thread | Fabric Scissors | Erasable Fabric Marker | Rotary Cutter (optional) | Self Healing Cutting Mat (optional)

Fast and easy! And with enough layers that the drool won’t soak their clothes!
