Sounds simple…right?
Of course it does, and my threader has been broken for years and I’ve done just fine without it. But as of late…well, lets just say my eyesight has seen better days…

This week, I’ve been challenged by Kim over at Persimon Dreams as part of her 2019 Project Quilting Celebrity Challenge. Read on to see what my challenge was and what I came up with!

We all know that I’m totally obsessed with Amy Friend’s By Hand collection. I used it in my Bloctopus quilt and jumped at the chance when my friends over at Benartex asked if I’d be interested in using it again.
I was asked to create a small project that showed off Amy’s beautiful work, and I really couldn’t resist using the whole spectrum of fabrics. I’m a sucker for ROYGBV and these fabrics just flow so nicely into each other.

As you may have noticed, I have a love for all things old-fashioned, feel-goody, and thoughtful. So, there was no way that I was going to let February 7th pass me by this year. Are YOU prepared?

One word. For the whole year.
I chose Balance…but that’s all I’m going to say for now! I’ll be giving you the whole scoop as the year goes on… (Continue reading…)
2019 is only two days along and I already know the theme for the year.
Balance.
It doesn’t take long once you know me until you realize that I really like getting organized.
I’m not the best at staying organized, but I really love to have a place for everything and everything in it’s place.
This year I was about to order the same old same old 2019 planner, when a friend of mine showed me her Quilter’s Planner. Sure, I had heard about it before, but didn’t really think much of it. I assumed it was some traditional old-school planner. Boy, was I wrong! (Continue reading…)
