For the past several weeks, an incredibly talented group of designers has been quietly creating projects with my newest Benartex fabric collection, Winter Haven. Today I’m thrilled to share them with you as we kick off our annual Winter Haven Project Hop!
One of my favorite parts of designing fabric is seeing what happens after it leaves my studio. Every maker notices something different. One person sees a cozy holiday quilt. Another imagines a beautiful table runner, a practical tote bag, or even a gift you’ll use year after year.
That’s exactly what this hop is about.

About Winter Haven
Winter Haven was inspired by the quiet magic of winter.
It’s the peaceful hush after a fresh snowfall. Deer wandering through the trees. Tiny mushrooms tucked beneath evergreen branches. Warm mugs of tea. Handmade gifts wrapped with care. The slower pace that invites us to gather around a sewing machine and create something meaningful.
The collection combines rich woodland greens, soft neutrals, berry reds, warm golds, icy blues, and cozy textures that feel equally at home in holiday projects or quilts you’ll enjoy all winter long.
Whether you’re making something festive or something timeless, I hope these fabrics inspire you to slow down and savor the season.
