Step into the quiet magic beneath the trees with Understory, a richly detailed quilt pattern inspired by forest floors, winding ferns, and clusters of red-capped mushrooms peeking through the leaves. Designed using my Winter Haven fabric line, this quilt feels layered, organic, and full of little moments to discover as you sew.

Understory is structured as a “Bit of the Month”—similar to a block of the month, but with more variety and movement in each section. Instead of repeating a single block, you’ll build the quilt through 9 thoughtfully designed pattern installments, each adding new elements and visual interest along the way.
